Coming from an artistic background, with close ties to the art & framing industry, saw me designing & framing my own artwork from an early age; which has naturally led to a 15+ year career focused in various aspects of the Fine Art industry.

I began with a position servicing Vancouver’s local framing community; it was here that I learned the basics of the framing industry, and the products and services it has to offer. It was also this position that allowed me to begin to cultivate my skills in customer service and support - something that has held high importance to me throughout my subsequent career.

From the wholesale / supply side, I transitioned into a position as a sales consultant for an established fine art & framing firm in Vancouver, Hambleton Fine Art Services. It was here that I started to broaden my appreciation for a lager variety of artwork styles & mediums; as well as began to develop relationships with some of Vancouver’s most talented interior designers, artists, and suppliers - many of which are relationships that I still maintain today. Working primarily with interior designers also allowed me to cultivate my own design skills; as well as an understanding of approaching an art collection as a narrative, designed for a specific type of client.

The next phase of my career lead me to join the team of one of Vancouver’s most reputable international art consulting firms, Farmboy Fine Arts. My time here not only allowed me to apply my service, product & design skills, but also allowed me to gain experience working in an extremely fast past environment; managing large-scale, complex projects for some of the most well known design firms, procurement agencies, and ownership groups in North America. I was also able to further my understanding of product & price points to meet the challenge of achieving extremely aggressive budget targets in a variety of mediums; as well as expand my understanding of the industry into the US & international hospitality markets.
